I had an amazing stay for 2 nights in a Double Room Sea View. The dinner was delicious, and the breakfast was just what I needed. The vibe in the pub is super friendly, with locals gathering for a good chat. Plus, I even got to see the Northern Lights during my trip! 🥳

Staying here was a delightful experience with friendly owners and a fantastic local pub downstairs, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the stunning Bow Fiddle Rock just a short walk away and enjoying the beautiful coastlines nearby for a peaceful afternoon stroll.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Victoria Hotel. The warm welcome from the new owners set a pleasant tone. My sea view room was clean, cozy, and offered beautiful views of the nearby coast. Breakfast was delightful, and the local dining options were diverse and satisfying.
No negatives experienced during my stay.

oh, the 'gorgeous' sea view didn’t quite offset the nauseating smell from the carpet. calling a 5-minute toilet roar a 'drain symphony' is too generous. i guess expecting a complimentary upgrade after that unpleasantness was asking too much. i almost wrote a good review, but this place just couldn't handle my standards.

Charming village location, scenic sea views from rooms, lively bar area with local brews
The bathroom lacked sufficient storage space for personal items!!! The heating was inadequate during cold mornings, and noise from plumbing can be disruptive at night!!! Adding mini fridges in rooms would also enhance the experience!!!

Just a solid selection for a weekend in Portknockie with the best value for money ratio. The breakfast spread was fantastic and made each morning special. Try to get a room on a higher floor for a better view of the coast.

Lorraine's warm welcome made us feel right at home, and our ensuite room was super cozy and spotless. We enjoyed relaxing by the wood stove and chatting with locals in the bar while sipping on some great whiskey. The only small thing was that there wasn't a hairdryer in the room, but one was available if we asked for it. Definitely try the homemade soup! 😊
